The award was given by Ambassador Dr. Deepak Vohra (Indian Diplomat, and special advisor to the Prime Minister of India).
Grizzly Vidyalaya won the U-14 (Boys) Koderma District Kho-Kho Championship organized by Koderma District Kho-Kho Association. The Teams of U-12 (Boys) and U-14 (Girls) were the second runner-up in the championship.

In Khelo India (Athletics) Direct selectionatthe state level, Koderma. SagarAdarsh, Anil Kumar, and Rohit Sharma got First Position in 400mtr., 1500mtr. & High Jump respectively whereas Prince Kumar got Second Position in 800mtr Race. Our Relay team also got Second Position in the same competition.
In Koderma District Sahodaya School Complex Athletic Championship, 2016 held at Sainik School, TelaiyaRohit Sharma & Anil Kumar got Second Position in High Jump & 1500 mtr Race whereasAkashPaswan got Third position in 400mtr Race.
